How it all started
Hey there! I'm Libby, the owner of Libbylu Photography.
I am so happy you've decided to join me on this journey!
Let's get to know each other a little bit! Here are some fun facts about me:
When I'm not out and about taking photos, you can catch me reading a romance novel, skiing the beautiful slopes of Montana, or spending time at the lake with family. I also love to travel the world with the people I love most and explore God's beautiful creation.
If you've spent more than five minutes with me then you know I crack the stupidest jokes and laugh over the smallest things. I also love to live spontaneously and in the moment.
If you haven't figured it out by now, I also love taking photos. I've been a wedding and portrait photographer for over three years. Here's how my love for photography came to be:
My photography journey started when I was fifteen. I stumbled across a camera in my parents room, and I was full of curiosity! I took online photography classes while also teaching myself few things along the way. Once I was confident in my photography skills, I jumped into portrait photography. I started with seniors and eventually ventured to couples. By the time I knew it I had fallen head over heels about photography. After a year of using a digital camera and gaining experience in the world of photography, I started this sweet business of mine in 2019. Since this journey started I've been absolutely honored to photograph 30+ weddings along with all of the beautiful milestones in life. I will forever strive to keep this business full of joyful laughter and pure smiles.
